The two power chassis that I got in the recent Ebay job lot have been fully tested, the 0-6-0 chassis had a partially stripped gear so it's on its way to the bin (i may retrieve a few bits of it for spares). The 0-4-0 chassis is a really nice running unit.
My scratch built diesel was running on a very old 0-4-0 LGB chassis which is a lumpy runner and works better in one direction than the other. I though the it could do with some new running gear ...

I bought a longer wheelbase wagon off Ebay a couple of months ago, I fitted Accucraft couplings - but couldn't decide on a suitable wagon load. For simplicity I decided to give it a tarpaulin cover (using black plastic)....
Sorted through the job lot received recently and kept the best bits; the open wagon bodies were made from balsa and hardboard - warped and brittle; so I just kept the under frames and wheels.
So far I've managed to assemble the two tanker wagons, these have now arrived in the goods yard ...
I have one good under frame left over - I'll make a suitable wagon body to go with.
Arrived in the post today, a big parcel - an Ebay job lot of G scale items...
plenty of projects from the contents; the two track powered chassis's work well so a couple of loco build projects can be planned.
Well I did B2, in the form of a coach number B2...
I had B1, B3, & C4 (brake compo), I thought it would be nice to complete the set...
Used one of my Accucraft wagons, added a simple suitably shaped cardboard frame to the inside and used some black plastic from an old mailing bag cut-to-size and fixed over the top.
Before sticking on the plastic it was fitted with some large brown thread on sides and corners to simulate fixing ropes.
Bought off Ebay - a nice shiny red tanker wagon; needed to be rebuilt as the glue holding it together had dried out in a few places - a good buy and will provide more variety to the goods trains.
