Signals Project - finished

 What I thought would be a bit tricky and take time, was simples.  The four signals needed a touch-in of the paint work, putting on bases and the ladders added (one of the semaphore assemblies fell to bits, easily fixed with a bit of glue and a couple of spare bits I had).

Here they are just out of the paint shop...

and they are now in position on the garage layout as starter signals at each end of the two stations;  the semaphore levers work manually....

 With the 'speeder' build done, time to get on with the next project - signals..

Laid out all the bits I've accumulated...

My original plan was to do four for the garage layout and cobble together two to use outdoors; after fiddling and some thinking I finally decided it was best to only build four good ones for the garage layout.(too fragile for outside and difficult to fix into the ground being top heavy).

Front part gets some doors....

Back part done simply as a stowage area ...

next job is a coat of dilute PVA for the cardboard and off to the paint shop ....

The driver's feet have been chopped off to fit him in, the motor housing gets in the way. Once side doors added this fudge won't be visible.
