Watching the big locos ....

Yesterday my friend had a little garden railway meet at his place.. we ran some trains with larger track powered locos including my Bagnall 2-8-2; some pics taken (when I remembered todo so, as I was enjoying watching the trains...)

New buffer stop ... and Train time ...

Replacing a buffer stop,  the old one was plastic and clipped on not too well. A second hand LGB buffer stop rail section I got off Ebay ready to be fitted ...

first though clear off the old cheapo grass mat and give the exposed area a sand down....

A piece of grey carpet tile cut to size for the ballast and the track fixed down with a couple of panel pins...

suitable paint job done, the paint takes ages to dry,

  so .....
