I built up the area in front of the track enough to hold back some ballast (alpine grit); the grass is from a dolls house supplier. A few added scenic items have got it looking really nice. A shot of the freight area and headshunt.

CVR Indoors - progress at last
A number of my garden Railway projects have been languishing uncompleted. I decided to catch up and as it is not the best weather for working outside I decided to get my little indoor 'test track' layout into shape. I decided on the simplest approach to get the best results.

CVR Indoors - 2
The rolling stock looks right now against it; an added extra is I've got a lovely panoramic view to look at while I'm sitting at my modelling desk.

Spring Tingle
Now that spring is here, I feel I want get some running sessions in.
I've got a bit of major garden rework to finish (new path/border), then I can get onto the railway.
I've managed do so some work on the track. Removal of weeds etc. Some of the builidngs need repairing and a lick of paint.
