I took advantage of the sunny weather today to have a short running session on the garden layout. With most of the pre-spring garden tidy done over the weekend, I did a quick check for debris on the track - all OK. The train for today was my PlayMobil RC diesel and the coach I'm working on, which will run with the tram loco; a chance to run the coach round and check the coupling clearance round corners - no problems.

Trackbed is edged with floor tiles cut lengthways, the bottom of the trackbed has two layers of weed fabric. For ballast I used 10mm gravel which is cheapest (some use Horticultural Grit as more to scale). [url link removed 15/3/21)]
