WagonWorks : Bogey Goods Open Wagon (2)... the easy bits ?

The build continues....

Some kits are a bit like jigsaw puzzles, this one is a bit light on the instructions, needing my the little grey cells to work harder...... hopefully there aren't any missing pieces (I expect so, at least I can make up some replacements).

After carefully marking up the sides, the side bracing pieces were added, one side has the brake handle holder.

Moving on to the underframe, the holders for the bogies have to be fitted. The instructions say something like 'the holders may have to be adjusted in height as needed'. I couldn't cut the thick plastic they were made of, so I resorted to removing part of the support...

and using some plasticard spacers...

looks fine with the bogey positioned (bodge covered up ! 😀)

Out to the garage layout, the wagon runs round the Radius 1 curves OK...

Time for a break in the build, read the instructions again 😇..... and then get on with the fiddly bits
